HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I am offering the 40 OVER 40 BEYOND BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE for just $400. The total value is over $800. (Only 3 spots left in 2022)
WHAT DOES THE $400 INCLUDE?
As one of my ‘40 OVER 40’ women, you will receive:
● CONSULTATION: To discuss how YOU want to be photographed and to plan the boudoir or beauty wardrobe & styling.
● WARDROBE STYLING & ACCESS TO OUR STUDIO CLOSET - Enjoy couture, vintage, lace and fabric pieces in our studio wardrobe during your shoot.
● PHOTOSHOOT READY HAIR AND MAKEUP APPLICATION - Enjoy being pampered by one of our amazing professional artists and get glammed up.
● YOUR EMPOWERING PHOTOSHOOT - Embrace yourself being captured for 90+ minutes with 3 looks at Studio Luxe with Boudoir Specialist & Photographer Cristal Sawatzky.
● IMAGE REVEAL SESSION: Where you view your images at the studio & select your gifted image/order your favourites 10-14 days after your photo shoot.
● PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: You will receive one fine art matted portrait with matching high res digital image (a $350 value). Additional photographs and products available for purchase. Wall art starting at $350, Folios $1200, Albums $1500 and Collections $2000.

TO SHOWCASE THE PROJECT:
You’ll be interviewed by me after the photoshoot to find out your views about being a woman over 40. This may include video interviews.
That interview may be shared on my website and social media.
Before and After makeover photos may be shown.

FAQs
WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN ONE PHOTOGRAPH?
Absolutely! When you see the 30-40 stunning images we have created for you, you'll mostly likely want them all! Extra photographs (including the digital and 5x7 print on 8x10 mat) are $275 each, but the more you buy, the more value. Collections are our clients most popular choice. Our stunning wall art starts at $350, gorgeous folios with matted images start at $1200 + tax, custom luxurious albums start at $1500 and go up from there. We accept credit cards and offer pre-payment plans as well.
WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
My beautiful loft portrait studio STUDIO LUXE is in Abbotsford, BC just a few blocks north of the border.
WHAT WILL I WEAR?
You can wear up to 3 different outfits in your photoshoot. We have a collection of over 300+ pieces for you to play DRESS UP! Although I specialize in boudoir style imagery, this is a unique opportunity to create your own experience. How you want to be seen! You can be casual in jeans and a black or white shirt. You can wear a sun dress. You can wear a fancy cocktail dress or jumpsuit. You can wear yoga clothes. You could even wear lingerie or your birthday suit. There's no rules. This is up to you! I want to photograph you based on YOUR UNIQUE VISION.
WHAT DAYS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE FOR THIS SHOOT?
We have appointments available for shoots during weekday mornings starting at 10am by appointment Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Availability is first come first served. On your phone chat with Cristal she will share next available dates and make sure to find an opening that works for you.
TELL ME ABOUT THE PORTRAIT EXHIBITION + CELEBRATION?
One of the most exciting parts of this project is to celebrate all 40 of our participants and share your images and stories with the community. There will also be a final celebration featuring all 40 women's portraits on display once this project is complete. Our venue will be announced as we get closer.
CAN I REFER A FRIEND OVER 40 TO ALSO BE A PART OF THIS PROJECT?

WHAT IF I BOOKED MY DATE & PAID $400 AND THEN HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?
I totally understand that life happens! I do book in my hair & makeup artist's time to be at your photoshoot. Therefore, you are allowed one reschedule more than 21 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 21 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) we do charge a $150 rescheduling fee.
WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?
I will be 46 this year, and I can relate with all my 40+ sisters of the feelings we have about aging and how we are underrepresented in the media. There's no expiration date on being a fabulous, happy, fulfilled, and vibrant woman. You inspire me. Your story inspires me. You show me and our society the truth-- that a woman just gets better with time, like a fine wine! I am a huge believer in women's empowerment. There aren't enough platforms for women over 40 to share their story and their beauty.
I'M NOT PHOTOGENIC THOUGH! IS THAT OK?
"Photogenic" is not something you are...or not! It's my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing. And lucky for you I am a trained master at making women of all ages, shapes and sizes look amazing in photographs.
HOW ARE YOU CHOOSING WHO PARTICIPATES?
We aren't "choosing" anyone. Every woman's story is inspiring. Every woman is beautiful. So we aren't going to exclude anyone who wants to be involved. Basically, this project is first come, first served. If you are willing to connect with Cristal for a "get to know you" call, pay your $400 participation fee, book your date, are over 40 (or turning 40 this year) you can be a part of the shoot! YAY! The other limit is that we only have 40 spots available. Once we hit 40 women, we will create a waitlist of interested women.
