Being a woman is hard. Too fat, too skinny, too tall, too short, too slutty, a prude... on and on it goes. Being shamed for everything we do..and usually by each other. Lately I feel “too old.” Then every once in awhile you meet a real woman that gets you. That celebrates you and reminds you that you’re perfect the way you are. This picture is me celebrating that I really am exactly where I’m supposed to be right now and feeling really comfortable doing exactly what I want. Lately I have been surrounded by the best kinds of women! The best kind! They lift you up, they give you courage, they remind you that you’re beautiful. They support you when you’re down and an even greater gift is that they allow you to support them, when they feel vulnerable or scared or less-than. Ladies I’m here for you. The thought of doing a boudoir session terrified me. I am quite private — parading around half naked didn’t appeal to me! However, something about Cristal’s social media posts were drawing me in. Next thing I knew, I was booking a session. I arrived so nervous and felt like I was just going through the motions to not disappoint Cristal, but she is intuitive and could sense my uneasiness. Next thing you know, I was engaged and loving our session. Cristal is gifted. Her photography skills are clearly strong but her gifts also lie in her ability to connect with you, to truly ‘see’ you, and to draw out your radiance. Her artistic touches, combined with an empowering and loving energy creates something magical.
